Regional gatherings throughout 2023 will aim to deepen the listening process in each region, identify key missional action points, promote and practice fruitful collaboration, gather accurate data to inform the State of the Great Commission Report, and guide strategic planning toward 2050.
When and where will the gathering be?
The Lausanne 4 Africa and Middle East (L4AM) will be held on November 14th to 17th, 2023 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
What to expect?
L4AM will involve African influencers bringing their voice and contribution onto the global stage of transformative world missions. L4AM’s purpose will be enabling African influencers to learn from one another on key missional topics, bringing African influencers together to build relationships to collaborate on addressing missional issues, and inspiring African influencers to address and implement the missional issues identified by Africans.
This gathering will deepen the listening process, identify key missional action points, promote and practice fruitful collaboration, gather accurate data to inform The State of the Great Commission Report, and guide strategic planning toward 2050.
What is the cost involved of attending the gathering?
There will be three categories of participants: in-person full-board participants ($100), in-person day participants ($50); and virtual participants ($50)
Travel costs (air – tickets) and additional costs for visa will need to be paid by the participant.
When should I arrive in Addis Ababa and when should I depart?
Participants are expected to arrive by Tuesday November 14th, 2023 at 1 pm EAT and are expected to leave by Friday November 17th 2023 at 2 pm EAT
Who can attend?
This is an invite-only event, and participants are carefully and prayerfully chosen by a Selection Committee.
