Relationships between the generations are more often characterised by distrust, competition, and conflict rather than a healthy giving and receiving. To address the issue of intergenerational leadership and the frustrations often faced by younger leaders in the church and Christian ministries, the Lausanne Movement and the Anglican Church in Brunei co-hosted a Regional Forum for Lausanne Younger Leaders Generation (YLGen) South East Asia on 6 August 2021 (20.30 CST, 08.30 EDT).
During the two-hour virtual gathering, Dr Malcolm Webber, founder and executive director of LeaderSource, shared some tools and advice to help bridge the generational gap and create opportunity for healthier relationships between the generations. There was also a breakout time for participants to network, reflect, and dialogue with one another in small groups. The session concluded with a time of Q&A with Malcolm.
