Research and Strategic Information

Key Concerns

Take a look at some of the key concern areas that we seek to address.

Lack of information leads to misplaced efforts, misguided strategies and ineffective results.

Achieving the goal of global evangelism cannot be based on hunches or potentially wrong assumptions or models from a previous era.

Christian mission must be a response to the realities of our own generation.

Research is likened to the eye of the body.

It sees what the world is like, what God is doing in the world, where the church is in the world …

… and enables the body to take the next step in the right direction.

One cannot love what one doesn’t know. Research enables us to understand the world and therefore to love the world.

How can we see research and strategic information for effective mission thrive?

Core Ambition

We want to see Spirit-directed inquiry and observation, and the collection and analysis of information to mobilise the body of Christ in Jesus’ great commission to make disciples of all nations.

‘The LORD said to Moses, ‘The land is to be allotted to them as an inheritance based on the number of names.’

Numbers 26:52-53

Take a moment to pray for analysts, data processors and information gatherers—thanking God for their work and their ability to give a voice to the state of the world and the global church.

So what can we do?

Rejoice with gratitude over the supportive work of research and strategic information gatherers and analysers.

Needs and Opportunities within Christian Research

Strategic information is obtained and conducted through research in many ways and is critical for making both micro and macro decisions.
